Abstract: In this paper,a 3 Dmodel of the proposed tunnel and the existing gas pipeline is established by ABAQUS software,and the "model change" units are used to simulate the step excavation and supporting.The settlement and plasticity of soil,stress of concrete supporting structure in excavation process are analyzed,and the settlement and stress distribution of existing gas pipeline are mainly studied.Numerical calculation shows that the maximum tensile stress,the maximum settlement value and the maximum stress of the pipe are not exceed the allowable value.Overall,the gas pipeline above is safe after the excavation of the tunnel.
