Abstract: A new type of prefabricated concrete structure reinforcing bar connecting member is manufactured by blanking using ordinary steel plates.Fifty-four cassette structures were fabricated for uniaxial tensile testing and the structural properties and working mechanism of the connecting members were investigated.The main parameters such as the strength of the concrete,the level and diameter of the rebar,the length of the hook,and the size of the box structure are taken into consideration.The results of continuous loading test show that the box-type structure has reliable performance when the steel bar is connected cause under the action of pull-out,the box-type structure itself does not undergo any damage,and the uncovered steel bar on the outside of the box-shaped structure is destroyed.
