Abstract: In order to design a new EPB shield machine cutter wear detection system,this paper studies the working principle and cutter mechanism of cutting tools on shields inspired by the working principle of electronic balance,puts forward a new type of cutter wear detection system,the resistance strain combined with tool forced deformation limit applied to the tool detection,and the feasibility of the method is verified by calculation.At the same time,the hardware part of the detection system is designed and the theoretical analysis is carried out.The detection system is based on cutter wear tests stress when the deformation degree,the volatility testing data changes,to verify the practicability,after many experimental observation for EPB shield machine tool wear detection provides a new train of thought.
