Abstract: Appearance of high-rise buildings puts forward higher demands of measurement precision and conventional methods can not meet the needs any more.Through comparison of common measuring methods,we find out that adopting zenith distance measurement method with total station can meet the needs of height transmission precision for high-rise buildings. This paper carries out precision analysis on vertical height transmission and verify the feasibility.
