Application of recycled aggregate of old cement pavement in cement stabilized baseChinese Full Text

Abstract: In order to demonstrate application of recycled aggregate of old cement pavement in cement stabilized base,this paper conducts performance evaluation on cement stabilized recycled aggregate produced with two-phase crashing process.We carries out mix design of cement stabilized recycled aggregate,determines optimum water content,maximum dry density,cement dosage and 7dunconfined compressive strength,then conducts engineering application.Results show that the water absorption is large and crushing value is high of recycled aggregate,but it can still meet the requirement for bituminous pavement base.While the cement proportion is 4.5%,strength representative value of the base reaches to 3.7MPa,which can meet the code requirement,and that means cement stabilized base with recycled aggregate is technically feasible and recycling rate can reach to 100%.
