Abstract: In order to solve the problems of joint mismatch and welding deformation in box beam assembly in steel bridge construction,research group carries out studies on hoisting,supporting and placing of curved arch and box beam,setting of stents,as well as shape and material of cushion blocks according to actual requirement of site assembly of box beam of Lanzhou Shenan Yellow River Bridge.Method of joints’ being fixed before welding and removed after welding is used to ensure the welding quality of assemble joints at box beam in steel bridge construction.
