Abstract: Effectiveness of ozone is an important reason of rubber’s aging and modification in atmospheric environment.Based on study of influence of protective wax and microcrystalline wax on aging property of crown compound of OTR tire,this paper carries out experiments on basic performance,wear property,mechanical property and aging characteristic of crown compound of OTR tire.Results show that physical protection system has less influence on curing speed as well as physical and mechanical properties of the compound,but has great influence on ozone aging property.Experiments results also show that protective wax has less influence while microcrystalline wax has greater influence on ozone aging property.
