Quantile regression analysis on coal consumption distribution in China and influencing factorsChinese Full Text

Abstract: In order to study coal consumption distribution in our country and the influencing factors,this paper carries out analysis and comparison of the influencing factors of coal consumption distribution through quantile regression and ordinary least squares.Results show that quantile regression has many differences to OLS.Quantile regression suggests the influence of various factors on coal consumption at different quantiles and comparison at different quantiles of quantile regression leads to more valuable results than OLS.
