Abstract: In recent years,a large number of studies have been conducted on task/ambient air conditioning(TAC)because it helps enhance thermal comfort, improve indoor air quality. Therefore,TAC is introduced in the bedroom among sleep environment to improve sleeping at night under the thermal comfort. This paper presents a detailed description of an experimental rig for the bed-based TAC system at two settings. The experimental results on the operating performances of the bed-based TAC system at the two settings in terms of thermal environment control are analyzed and reported. The purpose is to find a better sleep environment thermal comfort setting mode.Experimental data and simulation analysis show that the second settings are more suitable for the bedroom air conditioning system as sleep environment.
