Abstract: The Xuzhou Peace Bridge is the first single tower and double cable plane cable-stayed bridge in Xuzhou, which is the golden channel for connecting the new and the old Xuzhou city.Corrosion of wind and rain, the fatigue of wind vibration and other factors will affect the life of the cable and the size of cable force, and directly affect the stress state of the bridge. Therefore, the monitoring of the cable force is of great significance. In this paper, the transverse vibration equation of the cable under ambient wind load is derived, and the relationship between cable force and vibration frequency are obtained by using the method of variable separation, then the time domain signal of the cable is collected by the TST5927 wireless cable force test and analysis system.Based on spectrum analysis, the vibration frequency of the cable is obtained.According to the derivation of the cable force formula and related data of cable force, the forces of the measured cable are calculated. Results show that the cables which are further away from the center have less transversal vibration frequencies and bigger cable forces.
