Abstract: Based on the experimental investigation of 3 autoclaved fly ash porous brick masonry walls under cyclic loading with different vertical compress stress, this paper analyzes their failure characteristics, deformation, strength, ductility and force-displacement relations. The results indicate that the higher vertical compress stress can not only increase the walls’ load-bearing capacity, but also improve their behavior of deformation cracking resistance and shear capacity.Based on that,it puts forward calculation formula for shear strength of autoclaved fly ash porous brick masonry walls, which can meet influence rules of vertical compressive stress on the shear strength.
